2006 - USA Napa Valley - Scott Laboratories - Mistral 140 2x90

We tried the Mistral with success in 2005

« Scott Laboratories introduced the Mistral Line in Napa Valley in 2005 and we had the opportunity to try this new equipment with our fruit. The result was very good and we decided to go for a complete Mistral line 140 that has was commissioned in 2006. We had minor technical problems the first year they have been cured in 2007. We feed the line with half-ton bins at a capacity of 8 T/H, it takes 4 operators: - 1 on the fork lift – 2 to sort clusters – 1 to run the Mistral, the crusher and the must pump. I am very happy with the quality of the sorting: the Mistral is the best investment I have done in our reception line.»

■ Chateau de Sales - Mr B. de LAMBERT- Property Owner

2007 - France Pomerol - Rullier A-E   - Mistral 140 2H

To handle important volume of manual harvest: up to 8 T/H

“I harvest manually the 47ha of the "Château de Sales" in 8 working days, what means important daily grapes volumes. In a qualitative worry, I liked to sort out this grape harvest after destemmer, therefore an efficient and quick equipment was needed. In 2006, with a half team of grape-pickers I tried successfully during 48 hours a Mistral 100 (on loan from a friend of mine)
It is therefore, without hesitating that in 2007 I contacted David Rullier who, considering the volume of grape harvest that can go up to 8 T/H, recommended me the Mistral140 2H of Vaucher Beguet. I bought it and used it for the 2007 campaign in my cellar to my biggest contentment.
Settings are very simple, result is impressive of quality, and it without any human intervention. Only the whole and healthy berries fall on the conveyor going to the crusher, all outside elements (small pieces of leaves or stemme, verjuice, shot berries) having been eliminated by the air blade. It is a guarantee of unquestionable quality, all that could give rawness having been eliminated.
According to me it is the best piece of equipment in the Winery since the thermoregulation “
